INTERFAITH Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee Visits EFCC.
Chairman of the Interfaith Anti-corruption Advisory committee of the EFCC, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede led other members of the committee to the EFCC on appraisal of the fight against economic and financial crimes under the leadership of Ibrahim Magu.
Other members of the Committee that visited the EFCC included the Secretary, Arch Bishop John Praise; Hussein Yusuf Mabera; Alhaji Abubakar Inaboya; Pastor Cletus Alu and Imam Ahmad Abdu’rahman.
They were received by the acting chairman, Magu, who assured the visiting IAAC members that the EFCC will not, and does not engage in witch-hunt. “Our activities are in line with international best practices. In all that we do, we are indeed, guided first by the fear of God and then patriotism to our fatherland and the Rule of Law.”
He urged the IAAC members to carry the message of anti-corruption to religious houses as corruption is not only a crime against humanity but against the Almighty God. Others members of the management team of EFCC that received the visiting IAAC members were: Osita Nwajah, Director, Public Affairs Directorate; Abba Aji, Deputy Director, Organisation Support; Aisha Larai Musa, Head Enlightenment and Re-Orientation Unit and Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media and Publicity Unit.
