This photo was taken in 1994 when defiant Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh, who was then 29 years old, took over power 22 years ago.
He was a Lieutenant and Chairman of Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council.
Despite his tenure expires today but he has refused to step down.
